Junior Basketball Carnival - Broome

Throughout the second week of the school holidays, Garnduwa supported the Broome Basketball Association to run a junior carnival for kids right across the Kimberley. Di Appleby from Yawuru kicked off the event with a Welcome to Country, which set the tone for a jam packed two day carnival.

Our staff were umpiring, coaching, setting up and packing down and generally there to ensure the event went smoothly. Our staff from the Pilbara, Kununurra and Derby came across to coach teams from their home towns too!
