
Partnerships & Strategy Manager
About the role
As the Partnerships & Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Organisation’s partnerships/MOU’s/SLA’s, strategic planning and oversight of Communications and the Fitzroy Valley Youth Hub team. The Partnerships & Strategy Manager plays an important role ensuring Garnduwa continues to build strong relationships with local, state and national partners. These relationships work to deliver on the organisations strategic plan whilst adhering to the values of culture, community, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead management of all Grant, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and Service Level
Agreements (SLAs)
Manage relationships for all established Grant, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Manage underspend proposals, tender/grant applications under direction of CEO & Deputy
CEO
Management of the Garnduwa Fitzroy Valley Youth Hub program, with regular travel to
Fitzroy Crossing focusing on team support/development and stakeholder engagement.
Support the management of organisational budgets in line with all Grant, Memorandums of
Understanding (MoUs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Lead compliance of the Organisation to contractual obligations, including budget, program
delivery, reporting tools and functions
Strategic lead of operational plans, coordinating resources and streamlining operational and
program functions
In collaboration with CEO & Deputy DCEO, coordinate change management across new
functions/programs/strategies Organisation wide.
Lead collation and finalisation of all funding and partnership reports, ensuring data, financial
acquittals and case studies/blurbs are accurate and complete.
Lead development and oversight of Garnduwa’s Communications Strategy
Develop and align reporting tools to satisfy the requirements of grant and partnership obligations.
Essential Requirements:
Knowledge of the Kimberley and remote communities located within the region and, proven ability to provide successful leadership on remote program delivery.
Proven well-developed understanding and working knowledge of community development
initiatives and the utilisation of sports, art and culture in community capacity building.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship skills.
Proven well-developed understanding and working knowledge of Grant, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) management.
Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organisational and management skills in an organisational leadership role.
Proven well-developed understanding and working knowledge of case management.
Interest and passion for Sport & Recreation, community development and capacity building
of remote Aboriginal communities.
