About the role
Do you have a passion for sport, recreation, and developing communities?
We are looking for an Active Communities Coordinator (full-time) to join our Fitzroy Valley team in February 2025. This position has the unique opportunity to build relationships with local people, schools, and service providers. Through those relationships, you will plan, implement, and deliver Garnduwa’s Kimberley Active Community (KAC) Project as well as other programs and activities across the Fitzroy Valley region, and surrounding remote communities.
This is a varied position that provides opportunity to travel, be active and guide community toward positive behaviours and healthy lifestyles. The role is based in Fitzroy Crossing, however, has a Kimberley wide footprint and the ability to travel regularly and remotely is an integral requirement of this role.
The Active Communities Coordinator provides support and supervision to the regions Community Recreation Officers (casual staff).
